All Equipment is available and can be reserved for your lesson with your booking. Surfboards are included in the lessons price and 4/3mm wetsuit and booties are available for a $25 cleaning fee.

Please arrive 10 minutes before your lesson if you need a wetsuit you need to put your wetsuit on. Lessons will be cancelled if student arrives more than 30 minutes late to a private lesson or 10 minutes late to a group class.

You will meet your instructor at the entrance to Bolinas Beach on the boat ramp at the end of Brighton Avenue. If you don’t see your instructor please wait for them on the boat ramp as they may be finishing up another lesson. Please don’t look for them on the beach.

It takes about an hour from the Golden Gate Bridge or from Petaluma if there is no traffic. If your lesson is on a weekend, you should give yourself at least an extra ½ hour to compensate for traffic and parking.

Surf Lessons are offered from March through October when the conditions are ideal for beginners.

Surf lesson: You can cancel a lesson 5 days prior to its scheduled time with no penalty. However, there are no refunds if you cancel within 5 days or do not show up for your lesson.

Summer Camp: All cancellations must be made four (4) weeks prior to the first day of camp and will be charged a 10% cancellation fee. All cancellations made within four weeks will result in a 100% penalty. Missed days of camp are non-refundable and non-transferable.
